$1 million winning Powerball ticket sold in Altoona
MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) — A $1 million winning lottery ticket was sold this week at the Kwik Trip on Spooner Avenue in Altoona.
The ticket matched all five numbers—8, 31, 39, 43, and 60—but not the Powerball number of 17.
The Powerball jackpot continues to roll and the estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is $88 million annuity, $62.1 million cash.
The odds of winning the $1,000,000 prize for matching 5 of 5 numbers are 1 in 11,688,054.
Powerball drawings are Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday to be included in that day’s drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play with the option to purchase the Power Play feature for an additional dollar which could increase potential winnings.
