$100,000 bond for man accused of shooting on La Crosse’s south side

Victim remains in hospital

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The man accused of first degree intentional attempted homicide is making his first appearance in front of a judge.

Ellis Wilson was given a $100,000 cash bond in a remote session.

The victim was shot in the stomach last Thursday and remains in a local hospital in stable condition.

It was revealed in the court proceedings that the victim is now paralyzed.

The victim has identified Wilson as the man who shot him.

The criminal complaint is expected Thursday.
