15-month-old dies after possible drowning on French Island
LA CROSSE, Wis. — Authorities are investigating the death of a 15-month-old child found unresponsive in a bath tub at a home on French Island.
Officers were called to 3005 Lakeshore Drive just before 5:00 p.m. Tuesday after getting a 911 call from the child’s father, saying the child may have drowned in the bath tub.
The child was taken to Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse, where they were pronounced dead.
The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
