$168,200 of grants to support businesses in La Crosse
More than $518,000 of grants have been awarded in two rounds of grants
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – $168,200 in grants will help small businesses in La Crosse.
The grants were announced Friday afternoon by the city of La Crosse.
43 businesses are receiving the funds, which they say will save 372 jobs.
The businesses had originally applied for the La Crosse’s Small Business Relief Program about a month ago, but did not receive funding in the first round of grants.
The total amount awarded to small businesses after the second round of grants is more than $518,000.
