2 charged in Juneau County death investigation
LYNDON, Wis. — Charges have been filed against the two suspects arrested in connection with a Juneau County death investigation.Felix Rivera-Medina, 24, and Makaela Decorah, 23, appeared in Juneau County Court on Monday.
According to court records, Rivera-Medina was charged with two counts of first-degree homicide and two counts of theft from a corpse. Decorah faces two counts of theft from a corpse, harboring or aiding a felon and felony bail jumping.
A $1 million cash bond was set for Rivera-Medina, while a $240,000 cash bond was set for Decorah. Neither are allowed to have contact with the other.
Juneau County deputies originally responded to a welfare check at a home in Lyndon Township on March 15. Officials later found the bodies of 33-year-old Duane Mallory and 42-year-old Tina Decorah.
Rivera-Medina had been taken into custody on a felony parole warrant, while Decorah was arrested on a felony drug warrant.
An initial court appearance for Rivera-Medina and Decorah has been set for April 14 at 9 a.m.
