2 individuals arrested in separate child pornography investigations

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Coulee Region Children’s Internet Protection Task Force arrested two individuals in separate child pornography investigations Thursday, August 27.

Wade StokesThe Holmen Police Department arrested Wade Stokes, 27, on one charge of Possession of Child Pornography.

Travis GentryThe La Crosse Police Department arrested Travis Gentry, 34, on one charge of Possession of Child Pornography.

According to a news release, both investigations began with Cybertips from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

No further information is available.

Agencies that assisted with the investigations include Bangor Police Department, Campbell Police Department, FBI-La Crosse Office, Holmen Police Department, La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department, La Crosse Police Department, Onalaska Police Department, West Salem Police Department and Wisconsin Department of Justice, Digital Forensics Unit.
