2 people killed in motorcycle-vehicle crash

SHAWANO, Wis. (AP) — A collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle in Shawano has taken two lives.

Police say a vehicle driven by 80-year-old Roger Voigt of Shawano turned into the path of a motorcycle Monday afternoon. A passenger in Voigt’s vehicle, 79-year-old Patricia Voigt and the motorcycle driver, 56-year-old Gene Greene, were killed in the crash. Roger Voigt was treated at a hospital and released. Greene was from St. Charles, Ill.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting in the accident investigation.
