3 arrested in Trempealeau County arson case
TREMPEALEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WKBT) — 3 people have been arrested in conjunction with a Trempealeau county fire that occurred last Wednesday.
58 year old Steven Langrick of Whitehall, 41 year old Kimber Burkhardt of Whitehall, and 33 year old Heather Schmitz of Arcadia were taken into custody as a result of an investigation into the incident.
On September 28 dispatch received a 911 call of a fire in the Town of Lincoln. Upon arrival they found a residence and shed engulfed. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the back of the residence and prevent the fire from completely destroying the home.
The State Fire Marshall’s Office through the Division of Criminal Investigation was called to assist in the investigation.
