$3,500 in equipment stolen from La Crosse business
LA CROSSE, Wis. — Police are investigating the theft of more than $3,500 in equipment from a La Crosse business.
Modern Mechanical (2402 S. 16th Street) reported the theft that happened sometime between 11:30 p.m. July 4 and 9:15 a.m. July 5.
A variety of items were stolen, including copper wire and pipe, scrap metal and tools. Also stolen was a heating coil from the Kwik Trip Bakery, which Modern Mechanical was repairing.
