39th annual La Crosse Home Show puts area builders under one roof

People looking to make improvements to their homes had a chance to meet with designers and construction companies this weekend.

The Greater La Crosse Home and Builder Show wrapped up Sunday afternoon at the La Crosse Center.

For over 39 years, the show has brought together home owners and builders to gain ideas and promote area businesses.

Organizers say providing that opportunity is important to the customer.

“It gives a chance for the businesses to show off their products to the public and also for the public, the benefit is that they can come here and see it all as opposed to driving all around,” said Bill Jackson, show producer with the Jackson Expo Group which put on the event.

Organizers say household items that are controlled by a smartphone were the most popular attractions during the event.
