4-23 Sports Spotlight: Logan’s Alex Gavrilos

Our latest spring sport senior in the Sports Spotlight is Logan’s Alex Gavrilos.

Alex played baseball, wrestling and football during his years as a Ranger and was a multi-year starter on all his squads. He played catcher and third base for Rangers baseball and was named to the MVC All-Conference team twice.

On the gridiron, Alex played both offensive and defensive line. The Rangers went 4-5 as a team last fall, and Alex was 2nd on team in sacks and helped block for a Ranger running game that eclipsed 1,000 yards.

In his final wrestling season for the La Crosse co-op, Alex racked up 20 wins, according to the team’s Track Wrestling page, and he made it all the way to D1 sectionals.
