$40,000 raised during match day effort for Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign in La Crosse County

Drive runs through December 24th

LA CROSSE COUNTY, Wis. (WKBT) -The Salvation Army of La Crosse County’s red kettle campaign is up $40,000 thanks to a match Day effort.

Riverfest sponsored the $10,000 match effort on Friday.

The match raised a little more than 26- thousand dollars.

Then a donor stepped forward to give another $13,000.

The Red Kettle campaign runs through Thursday.
