$7M in cocaine found in pineapple shipment
Nearly 100 pounds of cocaine was found inside a shipment of pineapples in Delaware.
A U.S. Customs statement said a drug-sniffing dog at the Port of Wilmington led authorities to the cocaine, according to The News Journal.
The pineapples were from Costa Rica and headed to New Jersey.
A United Nations report said the cocaine had a street value of more than $7.6 million, The News Journal reported.
Citing federal disclosure reports, the newspaper says Adderall and thousands of Xanax pills also have been seized at the port this year.
