95th Assembly candidates to debate on Halloween
LA CROSSE, Wis. — The candidates for Wisconsin’s 95th Assembly seat will debate a week before the special general election to fill the seat.
Jill BIllings, a Democrat, and Dave Drewes, a Republican, will debate on Monday, October 31, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at UW-La Crosse’s Centennial Hall in the Hall of Nations.
The debate is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the UW-L Joint Legislative Committee, UW-L Political Science Department and UW-L Student Association.
The 95th Assembly seat has been vacant since Jennifer Shilling won the 32nd State Senate seat. The special general election is November 8.
