A Cool Afternoon Ahead. Areas Of Frost Tonight. -Michelle Poedel
Monday’s Forecast High: 58°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 34°F
A weak wave of energy is moving through the region today. It brought a few rain/snow showers to the Chippewa Valley this morning, and as it moves south, we could see a couple sprinkles across the rest of the area. Temperatures will continue to be cool with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
Clouds will clear tonight and overnight lows will be chilly! Lows will fall into the 20s and 30s by Tuesday morning, so expect frost to develop tonight. If you did any planting already, make sure to bring the plants inside or cover them up.
High pressure will provide lots of sunshine for Tuesday, but cool sunshine. Highs will be near 60 degrees, that is about 10 degrees cooler than average for this time of the year.
More sunshine is in store for Wednesday and Thursday, and temperatures will be a little warmer with highs in the mid 60s.
Temps will keep warming into the upper 60s for Friday and the weekend, but that warm up comes with a slight chance of rain.
Chance of showers and storms early next week with highs in the low 70s.
Enjoy the rest of your day! –Michelle Poedel
