A Mild and Dry Stretch of Weather Ahead
We’ll see more highs clouds tonight as warmer air continues to slowly take over. Look for lows tonight to drop into the upper teens to middle 20s.
We’ll see more clouds than sun Friday, but it will be a bit warmer with highs in the upper 30s. Low 40s will be possible in southern parts of the viewing area.
Looking Ahead… It gets even warmer this weekend with sunny to partly cloudy skies. Expect highs in the low-mid 40s in most areas, with perhaps some upper 30s north. Far southern parts of the viewing area could see some upper 40s! Keep in mind average highs this time of year are in the upper 20s.
It will remain mild heading into next week with highs in the low-mid 40s Monday and Tuesday. Expect partly sunny skies Monday, then becoming mainly cloudy Tuesday. Some forecast models are hinting at a slight chance of light rain showers (maybe mixed with snow showers in spots) Tuesday night into Christmas Day (Wednesday). Highs on Christmas will be in the upper 30s to around 40F.
We’ll keep a chance of light snow Thursday as highs slip into the upper 20s to middle 30s. Next Friday looks dry with highs in the mid 30s. We could see another system that could bring rain or snow to the region next weekend.
Overall… a very quiet and seasonably mild few days are in store for the region.
