ALERT NIGHT! Tornado Watch Until 11:00 PM, Also Very Windy! -Bill Graul
Windy & Colder Thursday
ALERT NIGHT! Please remain weather aware this evening and tonight. A line of strong to severe storms will race east across our viewing area from about 7PM to 11PM. Very strong wind gusts and a few tornadoes will be possible. A TORNADO WATCH is in effect until 11:00 p.m.
Even after the storms blow through, it will remain very windy overnight. A HIGH WIND WARNING is in effect through 6:00 Thursday morning.
It turns colder and more seasonable overnight, with morning temps in the upper 20s to low-mid 30s. Watch out for slick spots on roads and sidewalks Thursday morning.
With the threat of power outages tonight, be sure to have our FREE News8000 First Alert Weather App downloaded, so you can get warning information and stay informed.
Looking Ahead… Temps will be more typical for this time of year, with no major storm systems in sight through the middle of next week… after tonight of course!
Stay safe tonight! -Bill Graul
