LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – All 13 regular La Crosse polling places will be open for the August 11 election.
The City consolidated some of the polling places for the April election only, but voters will now be back to their normal polling place.
According to City Clerk Teri Lehrke, voters need to be aware of road construction on King and Ferry streets in the vicinity of two polling places, District 4 at English Lutheran Church and District 8 at Coulee Recovery Center. The City facemask giveaway event is scheduled in the vicinity of the District 3 polling place at Myrick Park Center as well.
Lehrke recommends District 3 voters use an alternate route. The suggested route is to use Hillview Avenue, which is east of the main entrance to the park.
District 4 voters should enter English Lutheran Church from the parking lot in the rear of the building. The King Street entrance is closed.
District 8 voters can access the Coulee Recovery Center through the 9th and 10th Street intersections on Ferry Street.
Voters can find their polling place location here.
