Amy’s Kitchen frozen foods recalled

Brands available at Woodman's stores

The FDA announced about 74,000 cases of Amy’s Kitchen organic frozen meals are being voluntarily recalled.

Amy’s Kitchen may have received organic spinach with the possible presence of Listeria, the FDA reported March 22. Listeria is bacteria that can cause infections that can be fatal for children and the elderly.

The FDA said no illnesses have been reported, but Amy’s Kitchen announced the recall as a precaution.

The recalled products were distributed in the United States and Canada. The Amy’s Kitchen brand is available locally at Woodman’s stores.
