Annual plant sale held at Western Technical College

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — An annual effort by local students could help you get your garden ready for spring.

Western Technical College’s Landscape Horticulture Club is hosted a spring plant sale Wednesday on the La Crosse campus.

House plants, vegetables and flowering annuals and perennials are being sold.

Proceeds from the sale will go towards the Horticulture Club’s activities and events.

Students put in a lot of work to make the day a reality.

“We were in charge of planting, watching, making sure that everything looks good for them and then transplanting them then when they needed to be,” said Jenna Deml, Western Technical College Horticulture Club President.

The sale is was held at Western Technical College’s Horticulture Education Center.
