Annual Thanksgiving dinner needs volunteers
More than 200 spots still available
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — It might be hard to believe, but thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away.
Once again this year, no one will have to spend their thanksgiving meal alone. Volunteers are getting ready for another La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the La Crosse Center. They’re collecting donations and are looking for more volunteers.
Right now they have more than 200 spots available.
“A lot of volunteers sign up for 2 or 3 shifts so they can put a couple of more hours in, but if you just sign up for one that’s great. And if you can’t sign up to volunteer, you can donate in other ways. Go to our website and you can donate through PayPal and help us that way,” said Teri Serres from the La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Inc.
You can find all the information you need to donate or volunteer at La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Inc’s website.
