Another Mild Night Ahead

Saturday’s High: 74°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 56°F

Our stretch of unseasonably warm days continued across the region today. La Crosse hit a high of 74°F – just 2 degrees shy of tying the record of 76°F for the date!

Skies will continue to be mostly clear for most of tonight, but a few more clouds expected toward morning. Winds will remain a bit breezy out of the south and overnight lows will be mild in the low to mid 50s.

Sunday will be another warm day, but there will be more clouds. I’ll call it a mix of clouds and sun tomorrow, breezy and continued warm with highs in the low 70s. Once again, I think we will come short of Sunday’s record high of 74°F set back in 1999 – but we will be close!

2020 Day Planner Mp

A cold front approaches the area on Monday. I think we will be mainly dry to begin the day, but a good chance of showers and isolated t-storms during the afternoon, evening and night. Temperatures Monday will still be warmer than average in the upper 60s.

Behind the cold front on Tuesday, expect a big drop in temperatures. Highs will only reach the mid to upper 40s, but that’s actually where temperatures should be this time of the year. The scattered showers will continue, and some may even see a few snowflakes mixed in.

2020 Temperature Trend

Skies will clear during the day Wednesday for Veteran’s Day. Expect sunshine, but cool temps in the low to mid 40s.

Highs in the 40s will stick around through the end of the week and into next weekend. There looks to just be small chances of rain Thursday and Saturday.

Enjoy your night! –Michelle Poedel
