Apprenticeship fair in La Crosse helps local students find opportunities

22 area employers took part.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Local employers are connecting with students, before they graduate.

La Crosse’s Western Technical College hosted an Apprenticeship Career Fair Wednesday.

It’s a chance for Western and high school students to learn about local opportunities.

“I would like to get my college paid for. That’s a huge part of apprenticeship. You can work while going to school and get paid and you don’t have to pay for college. So that’s a huge part of me,” said Holmen High School senior Ty Lesser.
