Aquinas Volleyball prepping for section semi-final clash with Westby on Thursday
The Aquinas volleyball team has yet lose a set in the playoffs so far. The Blugolds have shut out Mondovi, Fall Creek and Cashton at home, and now they’re preparing for their biggest challenge to date; a showdown with the 32-1 Norsemen on Thursday night in Westby.
“At the end of the day, ya know, we have to show up and play,” Aquinas Head Coach Danielle George said. “I think if we show up and do what we’ve been able to do, and what we’ve been working towards all year, I think we’ll be ok.”
“I would definitely say we’re at our best,” senior Shealyn Bahr said. Last week’s practices were great, and this week I think we’ve had some great practices this week too, so I think we’re ready.”
“We’re definitely playing our best ball of the season right now,” senior Macy Donarski said. “We’ve cleaned up a lot of things, we’ve really limited our errors recently, so I think we’re feeling pretty good about how we are headed into the latter part of the postseason.”
