Arson blamed for $1M Minnesota apartment fire
ROSEVILLE, Minn. (AP) — Investigators suspect arson in a Roseville apartment fire that caused about $1 million in damage.
The Star Tribune reports authorities are waiting for Bureau of Criminal Apprehension lab results on material recovered from the scene.
Tuesday’s smoky blaze forced dozens of people from their homes at the Centennial Garden Apartment complex. Three units were condemned after the blaze.
The entire 23-unit building was evacuated. Firefighters used a ladder to rescue one person from a second-floor window.
About 50 residents still have not been able to return to their homes.
