Arterial Bar & Grill in La Crosse closes for rebrand and renovations

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — A neighborhood staple in La Crosse is coming to a close, but not without a party.

Sunday was the last day for the Arterial Bar & Grill on the city’s south side.

The business is closing for renovations and a rebrand.

Owners of the long-time business wanted to give the community one more chance to celebrate by bringing back their famous chili dog.

“It’s something we haven’t done for a number of years. But we wanted to bring it back for today to say goodbye to the name Arterial and just let people close out that chapter any which way that they wanted to,” said Co-owner Ryan Schlegel.

The rebranded ‘Fork & Fable Crafthouse’ will open in September.
