Artists will take to Wisconsin glacial trail

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Glacial Drumlin Trail visitors might run into some new scenery this weekend — artists at work.

Painters, sculptors and writers will be plying their crafts Saturday, June 30, along an eight-mile section of the trail running from the town of London to just south of Aztalan State Park.

Visitors will be able to interact with them as they work on pottery, bow-making, watercolor paintings, natural writing and wood carving as part of an event dubbed Bike and Hike with the Artists.

The event is designed to highlight the Glacial Heritage Area, a network of parks, wildlife areas and cultural sites in the Jefferson County area.
