Bangor students donate gifts to patients at area hospitals

A special gift when you’re away from home can help you keep the happy in your holidays.

Students from the Bangor ‘B’ Club delivered toys and gift card to kids and families at both Mayo Clinic Health System, as well as Gundersen Health System.

The club raised about $1,100 to purchase the gifts.

The students just want to spread smiles in the community.

“We want to bring Christmas cheer for all the kids and let them know that there is somebody out there other than their parents that, ‘Maybe they care of us, and we want them to have a good time during the holiday season,” said Nathanael Wiggins, Bangor High School senior.

This has been a tradition for the Bangor ‘B’ Club for at least the past three years.
