UPCOMING TODAY:

ELECTION RECOUNT

MADISON, Wis. — The presidential recount in Wisconsin was over and final numbers from all 72 counties were expected to be reported Monday, with little change in the results that put Donald Trump ahead of Hillary Clinton by about 22,000 votes. UPCOMING 500 words.

MILWAUKEE POLICE-ILLEGAL SEARCH

MILWAUKEE — A juror’s Facebook posts during a federal civil rights trial could jeopardize a $2 million verdict awarded to a man who claimed he was illegally strip-searched by a Milwaukee police officer. Jurors last month found that former officer Michael Vagnini had violated Willie Newman’s civil rights during a 2010 arrest. If the judge determines that outside information entered the deliberations, he could throw out the verdict. SENT: 130 words. UPCOMING: 250 words by 3 p.m.

SPORTS:

PACKERS-DECEMBER SURGE

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The cold weather might not help Aaron Rodgers’ achy legs, but it’s doing wonders for the Green Bay Packers’ playoff hopes. They’re surging in December to keep pace in the NFC North. By Genaro C. Armas. UPCOMING: 600 words, photos by 5 p.m.
