Big Bikes for Little Tykes, a bike ride for a reason

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- Big Bikes for Little Tykes is a group motorcycle ride where members raise money for a special cause.

Noah Schroeder was diagnosed with a brain tumor last summer and is undergoing his sixth round of chemotherapy at Mayo in Rochester.

Friends and family from around the area teamed up in hopes of getting Noah a vacation to the Apostle Island National Lakeshore in northern Wisconsin.

Noah cannot attend the event, but he is still everyone’s main focus.

“He’s got some teammates here from school that was checking in with him so everybody wants to know how he’s doing. He is holding up really well, as best as he can be. And he’s just got such a positive outlook and he’s a sweet kid so this will be huge for him,” said Noah’s aunt, Lindsey Peterson-Smiley.

The bike ride goes for more than 100 miles around the Coulee Region, starting at the La Crosse Area Harley Davidson in Onalaska and ending at Onalaska American Legion outdoor barn.
