Bike auction coming in La Crosse due to surplus
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — You might not think about riding bikes right now, but there is a bike auction this weekend that could help you save some money.
The La Crosse Police Department will host a bicycle only auction this Saturday.
The department usually adds bikes to the fall and spring auctions, but needs to sell off the large amount bikes and bike parts that have been seized.
This is an opportunity for community members get some shopping done.
“Certainly it’s an opportunity for members of our community to get out, stop down and get a new bicycle and get a good deal on one at the same time,” said La Crosse Police sergeant Tom Walsh.
The auction starts at 10 this Saturday at the municipal garage on Isle la Plume in La Crosse.
