Bikers Against Child Abuse host 11th Annual Soup Cook-Off
LA CROSSE (WKBT) – Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) is giving the community a taste of what they do.
At the 11th Annual Soup Cook-off, community members gathered with BACA to prevent child abuse and enjoy a soup cook-off.
BACA has supported abused children, both in the courtroom and outside of it, since the late 1990s.
One biker says that their goal is to help eliminate fear.
“It’s just to get people out and sort of see us in a different way,” said BACA member Karma. “A lot of times we do awareness events in the community and we want folks to know we’re there.”
According to organizers, the Soup Cook-Off is their biggest event of the year.
