Blair-Taylor softball ready for second chance at state
Blair, WI — For the second straight season, the Blair-Taylor softball team is headed back to the state tournament.
The Wildcats advanced all the way to the Division 5 title game last season before losing to McDonell Central 8-3
Everyone on the team is back from that state run and Blair-Taylor has handled the high expectations nicely this season. They are 19-1 and ranked second in the state.
“That’s the one thing I really like about these girls. With the pressure and different things it’s becoming. Especially these last couple weeks. During the season we had a lot of blowouts, we know that. The last couple weeks we have really responded to challenge and the girls just never not believed in themselves. Hopefully that will be a good thing for us next week.,” head coach Greg Bratina said.
Blair-Taylor will play Oakfield in the Division 5 semifinals on Thursday at 7 pm at Goodman Diamond in Madison.
