Block of 16th Street to close Tuesday for utility work

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The city of LA Crosse will close 16th Street between Johnson and Mississippi streets starting Tuesday due to utility work.

The Water Utility will install a water valve in the street.

The street closures will remain in place for the duration of the project. Depending upon weather, the closures are expected to be reopened by mid-morning Friday, May 7th, 2021. You may contact the City of La Crosse Utilities, 608-789-7384 with questions.
