Blugolds fans line halls to send team to state tournament

Aquinas looking for third consecutive state title

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – While there are changes, girls basketball players from our area are still getting excited for their chance to go for the gold in Green Bay.

Aquinas hosted a send-off for their team Thursday morning.

Fellow students lined the halls as players to cheer the players as they went to the team bus.

The Blugolds looks to win their third straight state title.

After a successful season, players are ready to return to the state tournament.

“Focusing once we get there on still winning and still getting that gold ball has made it so fun,” said Aquinas senior Kayla Bahr.

The Blugolds are making their fourth consecutive state tournament.
