Body found in Denver by searchers looking for Minnesota man
A body has been found in Denver by volunteers who were searching for a Minnesota native last seen a month ago.
KMGH-TV reports the body was found Saturday in the North Platte River. Volunteers were looking for 29-year-old Adam Gilbertson, but police say they won’t know the identity of the body until an autopsy is done in the next few days.
Gilbertson, a registered nurse, did not show up for work on Dec. 15. His employers called his family, who initiated a search.
Family members said he was last seen at about 1 a.m. that day, leaving a bar about a quarter-mile from his apartment.
Gilbertson graduated from a nursing program in Wyoming in August.
