Braun’s images, merchandise stay at Miller Park
MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers say that even though outfielder Ryan Braun has been suspended for the rest of the season, his images and merchandise will stay at Miller Park.
The Brewers’ chief operating officer, Rick Schlesinger, says sales of Braun’s merchandise have actually increased this week at the ballpark, compared with the previous several weeks.
Speaking on WTMJ radio, Schlesinger said Friday that if fans want Braun merchandise, it’s available. If not, Schesinger says there’s plenty of other merchandise from which to choose.
Braun accepted a suspension this week through the rest of the year for unspecified “violations” of baseball’s drug program and labor contract.
