Breezy and Mild Tonight
Even Warmer Tomorrow

Tonight’s Forecast Low: 47/Tomorrow’s Forecast High: 64
Good evening… it was a breezy and mild day across the region, with many areas managing to climb above 50 degrees. We are watching a warm to our west. This front will lift through the region tonight and set the stage for a very mild day tomorrow. Unfortunately, it will be followed by a cold front that will quickly return us to near or slightly below average by the weekend.
As we head into tonight, look for a partly cloudy and breezy night. Overnight lows will hold in the 40s in most spots. However, south winds could gust to near 25 mph at times.
We’ll see a breezy and warm day tomorrow. Afternoon highs will range from the upper 50s to middle 60s! And, just like today, we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds. Unfortunately, it will remain breezy, with south winds gusting to near 30 mph at times. That cool front will cross the area late in the day. This will bring an end to the 60-degree temperatures.
Friday looks pleasant with sunshine and highs in the middle to upper 40s.
Looking ahead… we were talking about a possible storm system that could bring rain and snow to the region Saturday. As I mentioned yesterday, the models were shifting the storm farther south. It now looks like that system will stay over the Mid-Mississippi and Ohio Valleys. This will result in a dry forecast for Saturday. Look for highs in the middle 30s to lower 40s.
The area will get caught in between two systems Sunday, one to the north and one to the south. We’ll see a slight chance of rain and snow from these two systems Sunday, but because we are stuck in the middle, our precipitation chances look rather small.
We’ll start our Thanksgiving Holiday week under sunny and dry conditions. Expect highs in the lower 40s.
We’ll need to keep an eye on Tuesday as some of the models are hinting at a storm system that could bring rain and snow. Look for highs in the middle 30s to near 40. That chance of rain and snow cold linger into Wednesday, as well. It will be a little warmer, with highs in the lower to middle 40s.
Thanksgiving Day looks dry with highs in the 40s.
Have a great night! -WKBT Cory Malles
