Bret Hannam

Bret D. Hannam, 62, of LeRoy, MN, died on June 10, 2021 in LeRoy.

Bret Duane Hannam was born September 21, 1958 to Eugene and Shirley (Aulwes) Hannam in Cedar Rapids, IA. He graduated in 1977 and went to Rochester Vo-Tech from 1978-1980. He then moved to Boulder, Colorado and did maintenance work for 15 years. Bret moved back to LeRoy in the mid-’90s and worked in Rochester at the Methodist Hospital, Seneca Foods & various other places doing building utility & maintenance.

Bret loved long motorcycle rides, camping, writing music and playing his guitars. He also enjoyed working on fixing his motorcycles, cars and helping other people. His animals were also very important to him.

Bret is survived by his son Rory Vogel of Loveland, CO, sisters Brenda (Jeff) Grundstrom of Lakeville, MN and Beth (Tim) Slapnicher of Bemidji, MN, several nieces and nephews, 1 grandson and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family is planning a private memorial service to be held at a later time.
