Brewers’ Gallardo leaves start with injury

Milwaukee Brewers starter Yovani Gallardo left Tuesday’s game against the Chicago Cubs because of tightness in his left hamstring.

The right-hander was favoring his leg after throwing a 1-2 pitch to Darwin Barney with two outs and the bases loaded in the fifth inning.

He came up limping right away and was replaced by John Axford, who immediately gave up a two-run single to tie it at 2.
