Brewers’ Houser added to COVID list after positive test

Brewers starting pitcher Adrian Houser is the latest to be added to the team’s COVID list and the ninth such Brewer in the last 11 days.

Brewers.com beat reporter Adam McCalvy reports Houser reproted symptoms earlier Friday and later tested positive. Pitcher Jandel Gustave, who was added to the list earlier this week as a close contact, also tested positive Friday.

McCalvy added that outfielder Christian Yelich was officially activated off the COVID list after clearing COVID protocols.

The Brewers host the Giants tonight.
