Bucks fall to Mavs, winning streak ends at 18
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 48 points but it wasn’t enough as the Mavs snapped the Bucks’ 18-game winning streak 120-116 on Monday.
Giannis was 18-31 from the floor, while the rest of the Bucks shot 26-74 from the field.
Dallas got off to a hot start offensively, going 7-13 from downtown and building a 14-point lead after the first quarter. Milwaukee used a 17-6 fourth quarter to pull within four points, but Tim Hardaway Jr. cemented the win for the Mavericks with several key free throws in the final seconds.
The Bucks next play the Lakers on Thursday night.
