Bucks sharpshooter Forbes elects free agency
Bucks shooting guard Bryn Forbes has declined his $2.5 million player option to become an unrestricted free agent.
Forbes, 28, stands to make much more on the open market, but the Bucks are already well over the luxury tax threshold with just 10 players on the roster and will probably prioritize re-signing PJ Tucker and/or Bobby Portis.
Forbes shot 45 percent from downtown with the Bucks, which was fourth-best in the NBA. He averaged 10 points a game and 19 minutes a game for the Bucks.
