Buffalo County sees COVID-19 surge, says its at capacity
ALMA, Wis. (WKBT) — Buffalo County reported a surge on Friday of COVID-19, saying the public health department is at capacity.
The county, which has a population of about 18,000, reported 100 new COVID-19 cases over the past week, according to the Buffalo County Health Department.
In a statement, the county urged residents to stay home as much as possible and take the surge seriously.
“Public Health is at our capacity and we need our community to help slow the spread,” it said.
