Businesses honored at annual LADCO breakfast

La Crosse Area Development Corporation holds 20th annual appreciation breakfast

Local businesses are being honored for their success.

The La Crosse Area Development Corporation, or “LADCO,” held its annual industry appreciation breakfast Thursday morning.

The event is held every year as a “thank you” to area businesses for providing jobs and serving as important parts of the community. Several businesses were also honored with awards, including L.B. White of Onalaska, which won this year’s Diamond Recognition Award for Manufacturer of the Year.

LADCO Executive Director James Hill says the day is a chance to remind people of everything businesses do.

“Sometimes people kind of take business for granted, actually,” said Hill. “You know, it’s wonderful to have a job and that’s a very good thing, but it’s also many other things that business and industry does.”

This was the 20th year of the appreciation breakfast.
