Buzz’s Bikes building still looking for new owners
Building not eligible for historical credit
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A historical building on La Crosse’s north side is still looking for an owner.
The city of La Crosse would like to work with the public to help further the Buzz’s Bikes project.
The century-old building and the attached Masonic temple on Rose Street has sat empty since late 2015.
Recently, city officials learned the building is also not eligible for historic tax credits. That tax credit would have made redevelopment of the building less expensive for future owners.
