Caledonia police chief suspended two weeks


CALEDONIA, Minn. — The Caledonia police chief is suspended for two weeks without pay following a hearing on misconduct allegations.

Chief Kurt Zehnder faced the allegations at a closed meeting October 5. City Administrator and Clerk Jennifer Feely declined to discuss the matter with News 8, under advisement from the city attorney.

Zehnder’s suspension began October 23. Zehnder was hired in July 2009.
