Caledonia seniors: State title would be ‘icing on the cake’
Caledonia boys basketball is set to battle Minneapolis North Wednesday afternoon at the Target Center for the Class 2A state semifinals.
Both teams feature Division I talent and project to be a good matchup.
For Caledonia’s senior class, the chance to hoist a title in their final game would mean the world.
“That’d be the icing on the cake for us as seniors,” Austin Klug said. “Most of them are going on to play basketball, Casey [Schultz] football, and we’re all going on to play college sports which is really special. One last ride with them would be fun.”
Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday.
