Campbell Fire Department’s Santa Run returns to spread holiday cheer
TOWN OF CAMPBELL, Wis. (WKBT) – Santa Claus got a special ride on Sunday courtesy of the Town of Campbell Fire Department.
Jolly Old Saint Nick himself was escorted by the fire department’s sleigh this year and spread plenty of holiday cheer.
The department used their own vehicles to give Santa’s reindeer a rest before the big day.
“It gives us a chance to go out and meet the kids and make sure everyone’s doing well and behaving and see if there’s anything special that they’d like to have,” Santa said.
Santa stopped at each of the French Island parks to meet Campbell kids, and even made a visit at a senior center.
He also made house calls for any families who were not able to make it out to the parks Sunday afternoon.
