Car sales seeing double digit growth
LA CROSSE, WI — Car sales continue to show strong signs of recovery. Nearly all automakers are reporting double digit gains from last month.
Many companies are also celebrating their best sales month since 2007.
Clason in La Crosse has seen that increased demand. A sales manager says the biggest sellers are small SUV’s and pick up trucks.
“There’s a lot of people driving older stuff out there, for some you just can’t wait any longer, that’s part of it, but there is some excitement with new models,” said Clason Sales Manager Bob Wall.
Wall says the average used car on the road is at least 10 years old.
